CHARLEY HOEFER was named vice president of sales for LeadGenesys Inc. He was most recently CEO of Strategic Media Partners, a small consultancy for media launches.

Knight Ridder Digital (KRD) has promoted LEM LLOYD to vice president, classified advertising and Knight Ridder corporate director of classified advertising. Formerly the senior director of classifieds, Lloyd succeeds TOM MOHR, who was promoted to KRD president earlier this year. Lloyd will be responsible for driving Knight Ridder's classified initiatives in both print and online.

ALAN COHEN is joining Initiative Worldwide to lead the U.S. division of Initiative Innovations. Cohen will hold the title executive vice president, managing partner, Initiative Innovations.
