    ELAINE HANEY has joined Bluestreak as senior vice president of products and services. Haney will lead product management for Bluestreak's integrated marketing platform including IonMail, IonAd, and IonSearch. Elaine will also oversee marketing services, including Bluestreak's newest expansion into search engine marketing. She had previously served as Switchboard's vice president of marketing and operations.

    ALFRED TOLLE joined Lycos as its chief executive officer, responsible for revenue, profit, and leading the management of all the Web sites within the Lycos portfolio of sites, sales, product development, and marketing. Tolle currently sits on the board of directors of Daum Communications Corporation, the parent company of Lycos Inc.

    The Cinema Advertising Council has named MICHAEL KARAGOSIAN as chair of the national industry trade association’s technology committee. Karagosian is a principal of Karagosian MacCalla Partners, a business and technology consultancy for the entertainment industry. He also consults on digital cinema technology and policy issues for the National Association of Theatre Owners.

    Starcom USA has appointed TRACEY SCHEPPACH to the newly created role of vice president/video innovation director. Her primary responsibility will be strategic and operational oversight of the agency’s Video Investment Group, charged with investing clients’ advertising dollars across a variety of emerging digital video content points. Prior to joining Starcom, Scheppach was vice president of programming and research at OpenTV, a Liberty Media Corporation subsidiary.
