Michael Mendenhall, CMO of Hewlett-Packard, said the company has embedded an HP-branded print function on MySpace pages. The button allows users to easily print and share images with one another. Mendenhall said it brings "a lot of impressions" that reach one of H-P's targets: young, tech-savvy consumers. Weaving a sponsored print button into MySpace serves as another example of how aggressive News Corp. is in looking for ways to monetize the social networking giant.

Uh, there doesn't seem to be any question about Marc Goldstein's presidential vote last year. It was for the gentleman from Illinois. Goldstein, in his speech this morning, offered multiple shout outs to the new president and apparently is so inspired by him that he called on the ad industry to participate in improving the economy. The industry "can help kick-start our national economy and it's incumbent upon us to make that happen," he said.
