• Datonics to Provide Data on SourceKnowledge RTB Platform
    SourceKnowledge, the video ad network based in Montreal, will partner with Datonics to use its audience data on SourceKnowledge's new real-time bidding video ad serving platform, the companies will announce today.

  • Correction: ABC Mobile Consumption Estimates Derived From App, Not Nielsen
    The May 15th edition of VidBlog incorrectly referred to Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings as the source for a 71% year-over-year increase in the consumption of content via ABC's mobile app. The source was ABC's own data, based on "the number of stream starts that occurred in our app," explained ABC VP-Sales Development and Marketing Adam Gerber. He said that ABC has separately begun a trial to to see how Nielsen's Online Campaign Ratings could be used to measure mobile audiences.
  • TBS, TNT Will Start Live Video Streaming
    TBS and TNT will start offering live streaming of its cable channels, and offer mobile phone apps starting this summer, the Turner Broadcasting networks announced at their upfront presentation in New York. The TBS/TNT streaming will include TNT's coverage of the NBA, including the regular season, playoffs and All-Star Weekend and TBS's regular-season and playoff coverage of Major League Baseball; and both networks' coverage of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
