Google Maps, in partnership with The Catlin Seaview Survey, shows searchers what it is like underwater at UNESCO Marine World Heritage Sites in Belize and the Philippines. Through Google Maps, visitors to the sites can walk through the underwater worlds to explore the reefs, rocks and fish. While the Catlin Seaview Survey team has documented many underwater locations worldwide using their 360-degree panoramic SVII cameras, Google brings the images to many with Internet connections through Maps.

Google ATAP
Google gave us a glimpse of Project Tango Thursday in a Google+ post. The tablet has a 3D mapping and sensing capabilities. The device should become available to software developers in late June. The Project Tango Tablet Development Kit in collaboration with NVIDIA sports the Tegra K1 mobile processor. It's designed for computer vision and 3D sensing. Developers can use the Project Tango Tablet Development Kit to make applications that track full 3-dimensional motion and capture surfaces in the environment.

Google Ads
Google said it will drop support for Internet Explorer 9 in AdWords June 30. IE users will only have access to AdWords through IE10 or IE11. The Google+ post recommends marketers upgrade before the cutoff date to the most recent version of IE or any of these supported Web browsers to avoid a loss in AdWords functions.
Google Inside AdSense
Google made several changes to AdSense this week, including tabs, URL colors and ad sizes. The company said it made the interface more intuitive and easier to navigate, changed the URL link color to light gray replacing the green color and, in an earlier post, released two new ad sizes 970 x 250 Billboard and the 300 x 1050 Portrait.
PC World
A Google representative confirmed Thursday that the European right to be forgotten will not apply to the Google.com domain or country-specific Google domains outside of Europe, per PC World. The EU court simply applied the current Data Protection Directive to search engines. It all began after the European Court of Justice was asked by Spanish courts to rule on a case involving Costeja Gonzalez, a 58-year-old lawyer who claimed Google directed searches to outdated and irrelevant information about him, a 10-year-old Spanish newspaper notice about a mortgage foreclosure against him.
