Roskomnadzor, Russia's state communications regulator, on Sunday said it wrote to Google's parent company, Alphabet, demanding that access to Russian media's YouTube channels be restored on Ukrainian territory. The group wanted all restrictions removed. Moscow on Friday said it was partially limiting access to Meta's Facebook platform, accusing it of "censoring" Russian media.

Google launched related search for content pages, a new AdSense for Search feature that displays search terms related to the content of the pages site visitors read.

Microsoft Advertising expanded across Europe and Africa, adding 19 new languages. The company estimates this brings the reach of the ad network to 41 million consumers, about 400 million searches monthly on Microsoft and partner sites. 

Google on Monday enabled auto-tagging for free product listing and free local product listings through Google Merchant Center. Auto-tagging adds additional information -- a parameter called result ID -- to the free product listing URLs people click on.
