The data firm released numbers Wednesday suggesting Yahoo explicit core searches grew about 1% in August to 2.2 billion. Other numbers that Mayer touted include a 20% increase in Yahoo monthly active users to 800 million globally, of which 350 million are monthly active users on mobile.
