Video creators recently received a letter from Google explaining the shared revenue plans, the email obtained by Bloomberg. The media agency tells readers that Google is alerting content creators because it needs them to agree to the new terms allowing it include clips in the subscription product.

This helps to prioritize where keyword expansions and identify missed opportunities, per Google.

WikiLeaks rolled out a new home page during the weekend that some believe has a similar look to google.com. The engine's brightly colored letters above the search box and below an "Advanced Search" option gives it away. The home page, however, also lists the latest releases and archives. Venture Beat's Paul Sawers suggests that WikiLeaks creator Julian Assange wants to call attention to his recently released book called "When Google met WikiLeaks."

Google Capital led a $60 million Series B funding round for cloud-based payroll processing startup ZenPayroll. Emergence Capital Partners and Ribbit Capital also participated, along with existing investors General Catalyst, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Google Ventures. The company has now raised $86.1 million at a $560 million post-money valuation for the startup.

Roku has added voice search to its top-tier Roku 3 model, expanding its ability to search for movies and TV shows across multiple streaming services. The feature is activated via a button on the unit's new remote control. It allows users to search for movies, TV shows, actors and directors across about 250,000 movies and TV episodes, and lists by price from top streaming channels. Users can search by channel name, spanning 2,000-plus streaming channels available on the platform such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, HBO Go, YouTube, Vudu and M-Go.

A shared search feature on Redfin's real estate brokerage Web site enables people who are shopping for homes to collaborate on the process. Anyone using Redfin.com or the Redfin app on their iPhone or iPad can save, share and comment on their favorite homes with co-buyer, real estate agent, friends or family. The list of shared favorites and comments will appear under each person’s profile on Redfin. Hint, hint, retailers. A feature like this would allow consumers buying larger-ticket items for special occasions like weddings or birthdays to collaborate on the decision-making process, even buying the product.
