• JOHN P. MANOS: DKB and Partners
    JOHN P. MANOS, President and Chief Executive Officer of DKB and Partners was inducted into the 2003 New Jersey Advertising Club Hall of Fame on March 27. A prestigious award honoring individuals who have contributed significantly to the advertising profession in New Jersey through their creativity, Manos joined DKB and Partners in 1992 as Senior Vice President of Client Services. He was named President and CEO in 1996.
  • DREW SNIDER: CCH
    DREW SNIDER has been named general manager of CCH's sales and use tax group (STG) on an interim basis. Snider is currently the publisher for the Consumer Media Group (CMG). He joined CCH in 1996 as the director of Sales and Marketing for CCH's Small Office / Home Office group and was the former COO of Standard Rate and Data Service.
  • FRITZ KUEHN & DAVID JOHNSON: Tribal DDB
    Tribal DDB has hired FRITZ KUEHN and DAVID JOHNSON as director of production technologies and technical project manager, respectively. Both former executives at DreamLab, Kuehn is in charge with identifying emerging technologies and forging strategic partnerships with technology providers. Johnson will help support clients with DreamLab's content distribution tools. At DreamLab, Johnson acted as a liaison between clients and development, technical and graphic design teams, and as an information designer between the client and client's customers.

    DVC Worldwide, has announced the creation of a new company branch, called DVC Co-Marketing. MICKEY JARDON will be the executive vice president, managing director of the new practice area. Jardon has held positions at General Foods, PepsiCo and MCA, and founded MGR (now Marketing Drive), a pioneer in the retail-marketing arena.

    STEVE FAWTHROP has joined World Trade magazine as National Accounts Director. Fawthrop formerly worked as Advertising Sales Manager/West for USA Today's International Edition.
  • JULIE GRAHAM, Danielle Yuen, & LEE BOWLES: MORE magazine
    MORE magazine announced that JULIE GRAHAM has been named Special Events Director. Most recently, Graham served as Events Marketing Manager at DoubleClick, Inc. She has also served as Director of Events at Save the Date. Danielle Yuen has been named Promotions Director. Prior to joining MORE, Yuen served as Marketing Manager at Primedia's Teen Internet Group. She has also served as Marketing Manager at Parade Publications. Lastly, LEE BOWLES has been promoted to Account Manager. Bowles was previously a sales assistant at MORE.

    DraftWorldwide Chicago has hired KATE CALDWELL as director of strategic planning, focusing on direct marketing. From 2001 until present, Caldwell served as SVP, director of strategic planning at Vero LLC, Chicago. Prior to that, Caldwell spent four years as SVP, director of strategic planning and research for FCBi, where she innovated account planning techniques for clients such as Gatorade and Nestlé.

    WebSideStory announced the appointment of JEFFREY W. LUNSFORD as president and chief executive officer. Most recently, Lunsford was president and CEO of TogetherSoft Corp. Lunsford succeeds JOHN J. HENTRICH, who served as president and CEO of the company from December 1999 until Lunsford's appointment.

    Arbitron has announced the addition of JOHN KUYASA to the new position of national accounts manager, Arbitron Advertiser Marketing Services. Kuyasa will be responsible for selling and servicing major advertiser accounts in the Southeast. Kuyasa joins Arbitron from Spectra Marketing where he worked as director, client services.
  • BARBARA SHIMAITIS : The Advertising Council
    The Advertising Council announced that BARBARA SHIMAITIS has joined the organization as Senior Vice President, Interactive Services. Shimaitis will lead the development of the Ad Council's new Interactive Services Department and manage the organization's Internet operations, including the development and management of adcouncil.org. Prior to joining the Ad Council, Shimaitis served as a partner at Fergus O'Daly Associates, where she established an Internet consulting services firm with a focus on marketing, brand development, website strategy, design and development.
