  • Italian Cheese Consortium Angered Over Reference In Pornhub Ad
For the past year or so PornHub has been trying to up its game, improve its image and get people to pay for their damn porn obsessions. One of its latest ads depicts a couple shopping in a supermarket and the husband asks the wife, "Why don't we get this aged Parmagiano-Reggiano? They say it's the Pornhub Premium of cheese." Aside from the fact that it's one of the, ahem, cheesiest ads ever created, the Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese Consortium -- yes, that's an actual thing -- isn't too pleased the ad associates the cheese category with porn. It's ...

  • It Seems CMO Club's Yelp-Like Agency Rating Service Caused AgencyFinder to Launch Massive Update
Perhaps in reaction to last week's announcement that the CMO Club was formally getting into the ad agency rating game, AgencyFinder, a search engine of sorts for ad agencies, is getting an update.  The AgencyFinder database is getting updated to include listings from branding and digital firms, design boutiques, social media agencies and other marketing-related firms. Graf 9000 just got the memo as they've just hired their first-ever head of design. The agency has hired Roger Bova as Head of Design. • Cavalry Chicago Graciously Says Goodbye to MillerCoors With Classy Note
Far too often when an agency is decimated by the loss of a large client, the standard tone taken is akin to "oh it's no big deal, we'll be fine." Not so with Cavalry Chicago, which just lost the MillerCoors account, the lifeblood of the agency. Rather than hedge and say everything's fine, the agency faced the music and thanked the brand for the lengthy relationship. Here's the note: We are saddened to hear of MillerCoors' decision to sever our relationship. While Cavalry was founded in 2012, our relationship with MillerCoors has roots going back three ...
  • This Site Challenges You to Tell The Difference Between An Ad Agency Name And A Porn Title
Canadian agency 88 Creative has launched a site called Agency or Porn. The site lists the names of ad agencies and porn titles and asks you to choose which is which.  On the site, you will find Mouth (an actual agency), Take It All (porn), Karmabunny (an agency), Upload, (porn), Hot Tomali (agency) and many more.  I mean, that's really all there is to say. Other than the fact that there seem to be a lot of ad agencies that could be misconstrued as porn titles.
