Instagram is working on a top secret instant messaging platform similar to Whatsapp or Kik and part of this new project could involve the creation of an Instagram inbox and the ability for users to have an @instagram email address. According to reports, the new @instagram.com email handles were leaked by a marketing and e-commerce company. Instagram has not commented on the news.
