Hillary Clinton's email scandal is affecting her popularity in swing states, according to a new poll from Quinnipiac University. The survey found that in Florida for example, Trump leads 42 percent to 39 percent. Back in June, the same poll found that Clinton led 47 percent to 39 percent.

Senators Johnny Isakson, David Perdue and Ben Sasse have introduced a bill called the Securing our Secrets Act that would prevent State Department employees from accessing personal email accounts and private servers for work communications. The bill comes in response to the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton's use of a private email while she was secretary of state.

Facebook is adopting Microsoft's cloud-based Office 365 email communications tool. The social network's 13,000 employees will use the tool's email and calendar capabilities on top of its collaboration platform Facebook at Work.

In the spam folder, the image is blocked, but if you move the message out of the spam folder the image is a silhouette of a person's head next to Trump with a question mark on it.

A blog post from security expert at Tumblr suggested that the Pokemon Go app is able to read user's Gmail accounts. Adam Reeve, Principal Architect at Red Owl Analytics, suggested that the app was able to gain "full account access" to user's Google accounts when they log on with Google on iOS. Reeve has now backtracked on this suggestion and realized that the app is only able to access basic Google profile data.

Congress has plans to introduce legislation that would ban all employees at the State Department from using private email accounts and servers to conduct any official business. Sen. David Perdue (R., Ga.) will introduce the legislation today. The bill comes in response to the Hillary Clinton email scandal, in which the Democratic presidential frontrunner used a private email server while serving as Secretary of State.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch will testify before the House Judiciary Committee today to discuss the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a personal email server. Last week, Lynch revealed that she would close the investigation after FBI director James Comey recommended that charges not be filed. While the case has been closed, controversy still remains and Republicans are pushing to reopen the investigation.

A spam email is in circulation that looks like it is being sent on behalf of HBO to people that have downloaded pirated copies of the popular show Game of Thrones. The email claims that recipients have 72 hours to accept a settlement offer online. The fake copyright infringement notices have been detected by ISPs in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia.

Automation, measurement, and campaign strategy are the top focus for email marketers this year, according to a new report from Econsultancy and Adestra. The Email Marketing Industry Census 2016 included feedback from 1,150 global marketers and was conducted in February and March 2016. Thirty-four percent of respondents said that automated campaigns are one of their top three areas of focus in 2016 and 28 percent cited measurement and analytics as a top focus, followed by 27 percent of marketers which cited strategy/campaign planning as the priority for the year.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility have warned attorneys practicing in the state to be aware of an email scam that is specifically targeting them. The phishing scam looks like it comes from the trade association and either come in the form of a complaint or a bill. The spam messages tell recipients to click on a link that then loads ransomware or cryptoware, which block the user's computer access until a fee is paid.
