  • CNET Reporter Reveals That Her Gmail Account Was Hacked
    CNET writer Jessicah Delcort revealed that her Gmail account was recently hacked into. Delcourt revealed that she got fake messages that appeared to come from Instagram and Microsoft to her email which hadn't registered for these accounts. After this, she started receiving email for the game watching service Twitch and Music.ly. Trying to put a stop to it, she contacted Google who referred her to their FAQ and a nine point security checklist. According to Delcourt, the attack was likely a mailbot that had signed her up for multiple websites and newsletters.
  • Romanian Hackers Wants to be Extradited to U.S.
    Guccifer, The Romanian hacker who exposed Hillary Clinton's private email server, is waiving extradition in order to go to trial in the United States. Marcel Lehel Lazar is currently in prison in Romania serving a four-year sentences. He has been incarcerated since January 2014 when he was sentenced for hacking into the email accounts of Romanian government officials.

    The email addresses and home addresses of U.S. Women's National Soccer team players have been published in part of a legal dispute with the union representing the World Cup. The list was published as part of the documents filed in the law suit over the team's right to strike. The public document includes the personal data related to 28 national team players.
