Janelle Monae dances through decades of music in
Pepsi's Super Bowl ad, running prior to the halftime show, which Pepsi will sponsor. "Joy of Pepsi" begins with Monae dancing '50s doo-wop, moving to Madonna's "Express Yourself" from the '80s and concluding with the Pepsi jingle of today. Dances might change, but Pepsi has remained the same -- for the most part.

Mountain Dew's new Kickstart drink combines three great things: Mountain Dew, juice and caffeine. In the brand's Super Bowl ad, three other awesome things are meshed together: a puppy, monkey and baby. The creature with baby legs, a monkey's torso and puppy's face uses a hidden doggie door inside a man's apartment to deliver Mountain Dew Kickstarts to three guys watching TV. The puppymonkeybaby shakes a rattle, licks faces and kickstarts the night for three men who would have otherwise vegged out in front of the TV.
