• The Early Adopter Profile Supporting Mobile TV
    A recently released comScore study analyzing Americans' usage of, and attitudes toward, Mobile TV, (television watched via a mobile phone device) revealed that forty-six percent of those who currently subscribe to Mobile TV are below the age of 35 and 65 percent are male. Males were also more likely than average to be interested in Mobile TV, while females were more likely to report being not interested.

    According to custom analysis by Nielsen//NetRatings for the Newspaper Association of America, more than 59 million people (37.6 percent of all active Internet users) visited newspaper Web sites during the first quarter of 2007, a record number that represents a 5.3 percent increase over the same period a year ago.
  • Wide Open Spaces Promote More Outdoor Ad Viewing
    According to a new study by The Media Audit in 87 national markets, Houston-Galveston and Riverside-San Bernardino (CA) took the top two spots in a survey of the nation's heavy outdoor users, followed by Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas. "Heavy outdoor users" are defined as having driven more than 200 miles in a typical week.
