    Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, a restaurant chain that serves gourmet burgers, has hired TM Advertising to handle its traditional media planning and buying duties. Billings are estimated at $3-$5 million. TM will develop a media plan for Red Robin's corporate restaurants for May through the end of the year. In addition, the agency will be planning for at least two franchise groups.

    Macy's has placed its $3.5 million Hispanic account in review. Competing for the account are Conill, Latinvox, CreativeOnDemanD, and La Agencia de Orci & Asociados.
  • Giant Ideas - inCode Wireless
    Giant Ideas has been selected as agency of record for inCode Wireless of San Diego, California. Spending was not released.
  • Bally Total Fitness - Starcom Worldwide
    After a three-month media review, Bally Total Fitness has selected Starcom Worldwide as its general market media planning and buying agency of record. All direct response media will be handled by SMG's Halogen division. Initiative, the incumbent, did not participate in the review. Industry sources estimate the account's value at $80 million.

    R/GA has been working with Target to provide online marketing and creative support for the company's Web site, Target.com. The scope of work includes strategic planning and creative execution along with other initiatives. Spending was not revealed.
  • eBay - BBDO
    Just one day after firing Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, eBay has handed BBDO Worldwide its ad account. In 2004 eBay spent $455 million on global online and offline marketing programs. Of that amount, approximately $250 million was spent in U.S. marketing initiatives.
  • Rent-A-Center - Carat
    Carat Americas has been awarded the $26 million media account from Rent-A-Center.
  • Martin/Williams - Payless ShoeSource
    Payless ShoeSource has named Martin/Williams as its creative agency. The account is valued at $60 million. The agency bested Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago and Saatchi & Saatchi, New York for the account.
