    Real Branding San Francisco has been selected by Darden Restaurants as its interactive agency of record, following a nationwide review. The agency's responsibilities will include strategic planning for online initiatives, commercial Web site development and maintenance, marketing mix integration management, online advertising development and media planning. Real Branding will provide services for the Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Smokey Bones, and Darden corporate Web sites. Spending was not released.
  • ZenithOptimedia - L'Oreal
    L'Oréal Consumer Products has shifted all media planning and buying across 26 European markets to Publicis' ZenithOptimedia from Interpublic's Universal McCann unit. The account is estimated at a whopping $1.5 billion in media billings. The decision follows a four-month review involving the two agencies. The assignment moves to ZenithOptimedia Oct. 1, and covers a two-year term.

  • NBC Universal Television Network
    NBC Universal Television Network has placed its media planning and buying account, estimated at $140 million, in review. Horizon Media, Media Kitchen, and Starcom MediaVest presently handle the account.

    Subway has ended its yearlong relationship with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco. GS&P will continue to work for two more months. Work will be consolidated to another Subway agency, MMB of Boston.
