Sony has awarded media planning and buying duties for its music division in North America to Omnicom’s OMD, according to sources. In the U.S., the Sony Music unit spent just over $10 million on ads in 2014, according to Kantar Media. Full-year 2015 figures aren’t yet available. The company’s North American music business was one of two assignments that had not been decided upon
last month when Sony awarded the bulk of its global media account to several agencies including OMD, UM and MediaCom.

Following a four-month review, Clemens Food Group named LevLane as agency of record for its Hatfield Quality Meats and Farm Promise pork brands. The agency will be responsible for creative, media, brand planning and social media elements. Allebach Communications previously handled the work. Paid media will include both consumer and trade, East Coast-based initially, and expanding west as the company's new Coldwater, Mich. facility, now under construction, opens.
