    Cramer-Krasselt has resigned the $10 million La Quinta Inns & Suites account due to a possible conflict with another account, Hyatt Hotels.
  • Atmosphere BBDO
    Atmosphere BBDO has been named online agency of record for Lay's Potato Chips. Work includes site redesign and development of all online advertising. This is the first work the agency is handling for Frito-Lay since it handled Doritos several years ago.
  • Visions Windows & Doors - Shine Advertising
    Visions Windows & Doors, a vinyl window produced by Weather Shield Manufacturing, has named Shine Advertising Co. as its advertising agency of record. Shine will be responsible for developing a comprehensive brand launch for Visions. A national print campaign, direct mail, dealer and builder promotions and sales materials will be unveiled at the International Builders' Show in February 2007.
  • Foster's Wine - Vizeum
    Vizeum was awarded the domestic planning and buying account for Foster's Wine Estates. Starcom, the incumbent, did not defend. The account is valued at $15 million.

    According to AdAge, Carat has lost Johnson & Johnson's $400 million North American buying and planning account.
  • Carat Fusion - West Marine
    Carat Fusion was awarded search marketing and affiliate marketing services for West Marine. Carat Fusion's search team in San Francisco will lead search marketing efforts, while the agency's Los Angeles office will manage affiliate marketing.
  • Fallon - Audi
    Fallon has dropped out of contention for the creative portion of Audi's $70 million account. McKinney, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Venables, Bell & Partners are the three agencies still vying for the work.
  • McCann Worldgroup - Nortel
    McCann Worldgroup San Francisco has been named as agency of record for Nortel's global advertising account, following a multi-agency review. McCann will support the account from its London, Hong Kong and Miami offices. Advertising will debut in 2007. Spending was not released.
