Plus Three has been selected by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee to lead its online advertising and fundraising initiatives for the 2004 elections. The agency will provide media planning and acquisitions strategies for the DSCC's Web campaign, as well as implement an Internet-based persuasion campaign to attract donations.
Transcendigital continues to strengthen its presence in the tourism and destination marketing arena by adding Colony Beach and Tennis Resort of Sarasota, FL and Travel Sciences of Hartford, CT as clients. Colony Beach & Tennis Resort hired Transcendigital to handle the redesign of its web presence and overall digital marketing efforts. Spending on both accounts was not disclosed.
Mobium Creative Group has been named agency of record for the 88th PGA Championship at the Medinah Country Club. Mobium will develop a fully integrated marketing communications program for the event, consisting of print, online, broadcast and outdoor advertising. Spending was not disclosed.
BSUR Concepting has won the Wrangler Jeans account. The international creative consultancy was awarded the account after a five-month review in Europe. Wrangler's previous agency was Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO London. The campaign, breaking in September, will consist of print and outdoor components. Spending was not revealed.
MRO Software Inc, Bedford, Mass., has assigned Philip Johnson Associates (PJA) a rebranding and identity assignment. PJA will rebrand MRO Software's collateral material and launch an ad campaign for its flagship MAXIMO product. Spending was not disclosed.
Nissan North America has narrowed its search for an agency to handle its estimated $50 million Hispanic account down to three. Advancing are incumbent Ornelas & Associates, Dallas and Santa Monica, Calif.; Marca Hispanic, Miami; and the Vidal Partnership, New York.
Mitsubishi Motors North America has placed its Hispanic account in review. Deutsch, Los Angeles, presently handles the account.
Axiss Advertising & Design has been awarded the White Party events account. The events will benefit Care Resource, South Florida's source for HIV/AIDS services. The campaign consists of both print and online elements, including banner ads, event posters, palm cards, invitations, program books, and street banners. Spending was not disclosed.
