    Arby's has named Merkley + Partners as the company's national creative agency of record. The search was administered by Wanamaker Associates, an Atlanta-based advertising search firm. Doner, which handled the Arby's account since 1987, declined to participate in the creative review, but will continue to be the agency of record for the 30 co-ops they currently represent. The account is estimated at $15 million.

Carrafiello Diehl & Associates was already agency of record for both Medtech and The Spic and Span Company, and will continue to handle brands of those former companies, including Denorex, Cutex, Compound W, New Skin, Spic and Span and Cinch.     Life magazine has tapped Heavy as its agency of record to create the marketing and advertising for its re-launch as a weekly newspaper-distributed magazine. The campaign will include TV, print, national radio, outdoor, online ad buys and guerilla tactics. The creative will be introduced in September with print and outdoor ads.
