    Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has tasked MediaVest USA to handle its offline media planning and buying. The assignment will be handled out of MediaVest's New York office. In addition, Starwood has expanded its relationship with Deutsch, which currently handles creative duties for the Sheraton and Westin brands, having awarded the agency its Sheraton.com business. Avenue A/Razorfish will continue to handle Starwood's online advertising and media planning. The account is valued at $50 million.

The assignment includes media planning and buying for the Entertainment, News, Daytime and Late Night dayparts of the ABC Television Network, and all planning and buying for the ABC Family cable channel. The account is estimated at $80 million.

The assignment will begin with creative development and media planning and buying. The account is worth several million dollars.
