The Gap is appointing Isobar’s DEG as the retailer’s global email agency of record following an internal review. Having worked with the company since 2017, DEG will now lead campaign management and strategy for five of the company’s brands—Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta, and Hill City—across all markets.
Los Angeles-based Sensis, an integrated cross-cultural marketing agency, has been selected as agency of record to create a comprehensive marketing campaign for the Chef Merito brand of spices, seasonings, batters, breadings and marinades. Hitachi has appointed Dentsu Aegis Network as its new media agency in the U.S., according to sources. The account was previously handled by m/Six. Hitachi spent an estimated $3.4 million in measured media in 2019 according to Kantar. The agencies and client declined to comment on the shift.
CSAA Insurance Group is appointing Heat, Deloitte Digital’s creative advertising agency, as the insurer’s agency of record following a competitive review. Delta Faucet Company has selected Kansas City-based Barkley as Delta brand’s lead agency after a competitive review. Barkley’s remit includes media planning and buying, production, public relations, and social content strategy and creation. “Choosing Barkley was a unanimous decision. There were many factors, but the biggest criteria was the chemistry of the team and how each person at Barkley took a strategic view of the big picture and worked together,” stated Susan Fisher, Vice President of Brand Innovation & Growth at Delta Faucet Company.
