    French food company Danone has tapped Media Planning Group (MPG) to handle its media buying for France. Vizeum previously handled the account. MPG bested Vizeum, OMD, and KR for the win. Spending was not released.

    Robeez Footwear, a children's footwear manufacturer, is accepting request for proposals for an agency to handle various marketing, branding and communication duties. Robeez is looking to further expand its marketing and branding efforts throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

    Deutsch Los Angeles has been named marketing agency for Helio, a joint wireless venture between SK Telecom and EarthLink. Deutsch LA will handle all integrated creative and media duties. The account is estimated at $50 million.
  • Deutsch - Chevrolet
    Deutsch Los Angeles has been awarded various advertising and marketing duties for Chevrolet, focusing on the company's NASCAR and Major League Baseball campaigns. Campbell-Ewald remains Chevrolet's agency of record.
  • Coca-Cola - Wieden & Kennedy
    Wieden & Kennedy has been awarded Coca-Cola's global advertising account. The agency bested United Group for the win.
  • Samsung
    Samsung has moved creative and account chores on its global account from Berlin Cameron/Red Cell and JWT to Leo Burnett. The account is estimated at $200 million.
  • Welch's - Maxus Communications
    Welch's has selected Maxus Communications as its media agency, responsible for media planning and buying. The account is estimated at $25 million.
  • City National Bank
    City National Bank has chosen M&C Saatchi as its agency of record. M&C Saatchi will develop an advertising and marketing program for City National that will launch in the first quarter of 2006. Spending was not released.
  • Timex
    Timex has placed its $10 million advertising account in review. Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners previously handled the work. DiMassimo and Taxi are among the agencies competing for the account.
  • Monster.com
    Monster.com has placed its $1 million PR account in review. Weber Shandwick currently handles the account and will defend it.
