  • Popeyes - GSD&M Idea City
    Popeyes awarded its media planning and buying duties to GSD&M Idea City of Austin, Texas, the restaurant chain's creative agency of record. The assignment on the $40 million account includes national, regional and local planning and buying duties.
  • Levi Strauss
    Levi Strauss placed the media buying and planning portion of its $70 million account in review. Initiative handles media buying and DraftFCB and Bartle Bogle Hegarty handle media planning.
  • J&R Music and Computer World - Toy
    J&R Music and Computer World tapped Toy New York to develop new branding initiatives and support its ongoing advertising program. The agency will be responsible for the development of a new branding initiative, which will include consumer events, print ads, broadcast spots as well as packaging.
  • Chicago Blackhawks - Ogilvy Chicago
    The Chicago Blackhawks named Ogilvy Chicago as its agency of record, following a review. The scope of the work will include print, broadcast, digital and promotional communications.
  • Toth Brand Imaging - New York & Co.
    Specialty retailer New York & Company tapped Toth Brand Imaging to develop a new brand platform and marketing campaign. Print, outdoor and online work will launch in the fall. The account is valued at $2.5 million.
  • MPG - Hugo Boss
    Hugo Boss awarded MPG its global media planning and buying account, valued at $60 million, following a review that included Mediaedge:cia, Mindshare and ZenithOptimedia. The account will be managed out of Germany, with the agency handling traditional and digital media duties for all products, except fragrances and skincare, for more than 40 markets in Europe, USA, Africa and Asia.
  • Giant Eagle - Y&R and Maxus
    Giant Eagle supermarket awarded its creative and media planning accounts to Y&R and Maxus, respectively. The account is valued at $20 million. The Richards Group previously handled the work.
  • McKinney - Gold's Gym
    Gold's Gym awarded creative duties on its $15 million account to McKinney.
  • Callaway - OMD
    OMD is expected to pick up Callaway Golf's $50 million media account. KSL Media previously handled the work.
