    Nerland Agency in Anchorage, Alaska was named media planning and buying agency of record for Major Marine. The agency will handle digital, social, print, broadcast and trade planning and buying, along with creative development and production work for the company.

    Torus Marketing has been named agency of record for Brasstech, a manufacturer of kitchen and bath fixtures, accessories, lighting and mirrors operating under the brand names Newport Brass, motiv and GINGER. Torus will support the company’s overall strategic marketing planning and execution, advertising and branding efforts.
  • Warschawski; The Topps Company
    Warschawski was added to The Topps Company client roster. The agency will develop a marketing communications strategy surrounding the release of Topps baseball cards that debut in June.
  • BBH New York; The Weather Channel
    BBH New York was named agency of record for The Weather Channel Companies, following a review. The agency will oversee brand strategy, communications planning, creative strategy and execution across all channels.

    Baha Mar, a $3.5 billion resort development in Nassau City, The Bahamas, has retained Las Vegas-based SK+G as its advertising agency of record. SK+G will provide brand strategy, creative and web development, as well as media planning and buying services to the resort destination, slated to open in late 2014.

    R/GA has been named global digital agency of record for Unilever’s deodorant brand, Rexona. The agency will be responsible for digital strategy across Rexona’s global portfolio including Degree, Rexona and Sure. The agency has also been added to Unilever’s global digital roster and in addition to Rexona, will be working with other consumer brands including Impulse.

    Mullen has been named advertising and digital agency of record for U.S. Cellular, following a review. The agency will handle brand strategy, creative development and performance analytics across traditional, digital and emerging media channels.
  • Arby's; CP+B
    Arby’s shifted the creative portion of its advertising account from BBDO to CP+B, without a review.
  • Mongoose Bicycles; Firstborn
    Mongoose Bicycles, part of Dorel Industries Inc., selected Firstborn to develop a digital strategy and site experience for the brand. This is Firstborn's second assignment from the company, who awarded its Cannondale digital business to the shop back in March 2011. Initial efforts on Mongoose will focus on multiple consumer segments in the U.S. and around the globe. Work will debut online in the spring.
  • Arnold Worldwide; Carbonite
    Arnold Worldwide has been named creative agency of record for Carbonite, a provider of online backup solutions for consumers and small and medium-sized businesses. The assignment includes duties in brand strategy, advertising (digital, TV, radio and print) and website design.
