    Dr Pepper/Seven Up announced that Hispanic ad agency Mercury Mambo has been selected to handle the Hispanic marketing initiatives for the company's soft drink portfolio, including flagship products Dr Pepper and 7 UP as well as Sunkist, Hawaiian Punch and Welch’s. The programs presented for 2003, including a variety of sweepstakes and the development of complimentary materials, are currently in development. The first program is expected to be in market by early July.

    After a five month review, AOL has picked Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., to handle its estimated $100 million corporate advertising account. AOL's products and service advertising will be consolidated at BBDO Worldwide, New York. Wieden & Kennedy beat out BBDO Worldwide and sibling DDB Worldwide for the account.

    A bundle of Interpublic Group agencies has been named by Cablevision to handle advertising and marketing services supporting the company's launch of Rainbow DBS, Cablevision's version of satellite TV.
