• Intelecom Systems Inc., a consulting firm specializing in marketing programs for telecom providers, has selected Sanna Mattson MacLeod for a long-term strategic planning and rebranding effort. The project will include market research, corporate identity and graphics, and development of advertising and marketing materials. The budget was not disclosed.
  • RPMC, an entertainment marketing and promotions agency, has been named the exclusive promotion partner for Night of 100 Stars, a six-figure account. "Night of 100 Stars" is an Oscar Night viewing party in Hollywood produced by agent Norby Walters. RPMC will create custom incentive programs and packages to promote the February 27 event.
  • After a five-month review, Capel has named The Republik, Durham, N.C. as its agency of record. Work will include consumer newspaper, magazine and broadcast advertising, direct mail, Internet, and in-store design. The first work will break in February. The budget was not disclosed.
  • Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has placed its estimated $30 million global account in review. McCann Erickson Worldwide presently handles the account.
  • Deutsch, New York has been awarded creative and media duties on Revlon's Mitchum brand. The account is estimated at $120 million.
  • Chase, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. has awarded Zenith Media planning and buying duties on the estimated $300 million JPMorgan Chase account. The agency will handle the company's U.S. retail, credit card, and insurance businesses, and bested Carat, New York for the win.
  • Al Punto has been selected to handle Kia's estimated $8 million U.S. Hispanic account. Mendoza Dillon previously handled the account.
  • Last week's edition of Accounts on the Move stated that Schering-Plough has consolidated its global creative business with Omnicom Group and Publicis Groupe. Actually, the consolidation is limited to the Global Pharmaceutical Business. The Consumer Heathcare Division is not part of this consolidation. The creative efforts on the Schering-Plough Consumer Heathcare Brands such as Claritin, Dr. Scholl's and Coppertone is handled by EURO RSCG Partners, New York.
  • Keiler & Company has been named agency of record by ISO, a provider of products and services that measure, manage, and reduce risk for professionals in insurance, finance, and real estate. Keiler will develop business-to-business campaigns for a variety of company products. The budget was not released.
  • Eclectic Products, of Eugene, Ore., has selected CMD as its agency of record. CMD is creating a re-branding campaign for Amazing GOOP Adhesives that includes national print and radio advertising, public relations, interactive/Web, and media planning and buying. Spending was not released.
