  • Bravo, a U.S. Hispanic integrated communications agency, has been awarded business from Foster Farms and Lifetime Television. Bravo has been selected by Lifetime Television as its Hispanic agency of record. The agency will handle creative and media planning, and is responsible for the development and implementation of Hispanic communications plans. Bravo's responsibilities for Foster Farms include strategic planning, research, creative development, and production. The account was previously held by Anita Santiago Advertising in L.A.
  • deepPlay has won the Web site design project for the Museum of Modern Art’s (MoMA) exhibition, “Groundswell: Constructing the Contemporary Landscape,” which opened in February in New York City. deepPlay was selected to develop an online interactive exhibit of landscape-design projects that transform urban spaces into public parks and gardens. Spending was not released.
  • Chipita International S.A. of Athens, Greece, a European-based packaged croissant producer, has named independent ML Rogers as its agency of record. The account, previously handled by JWT Athens, was awarded after a review that included the incumbent, Publicis and Taxi, all in New York. Billings are estimated at $20 million. Roth Associates, New York, handled the review. The agency will produce a pan-European advertising campaign that will run in Greece and Central and Eastern European countries. New work is expected to launch in March.
  • Blackboard, a provider of e-Learning software and services to more than 2,000 universities and K-12 schools worldwide, has named the Pappas Group as its agency of record. The agency will provide creative and production services, including redesigning and launching a new Blackboard Web site. Spending was not released.
  • Shoe Station has named Sullivan-St.Clair as its agency of record. The decision was made following a review in which three agencies participated, including the incumbent of 20 years. Work will include print, broadcast, outdoor, and interactive. Media breaks this month. Spending was not released.
  • Weekly Reader Corporation, a publisher of classroom publications and supplementary materials, has selected Crossbow Group as its advertising agency. Crossbow Group will handle creative assignments for direct marketing, advertising, online, and trade show marketing as well as other new business development efforts. The account is valued at less than $3 million.
  • Porsche has selected Kastner & Partners to handle its media account, valued at $45 million, according to industry sources.
  • Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners was appointed to lead the integrated global communications efforts for Sun Microsystems. Spending was not revealed.
