• Hanft Raboy & Partners
    Hanft Raboy & Partners (HRP) has added telecom technology firm Tekelec to its client roster. HRP was awarded the multi-million dollar account after an extensive review of dozens of agencies over a nine-month period. The campaign will include consumer/trade print, online and direct marketing elements.
  • Geary Interactive and Trump International
    Geary Interactive has been selected by Trump International for Web site development and online advertising initiatives for the new Trump International Hotel and Tower in Las Vegas. Spending was not revealed.
  • The Wall Street Journal and Berlin Cameron/Red Cell
    The Wall Street Journal has hired WPP's Berlin Cameron/Red Cell to create a campaign supporting the Journal's Weekend Edition, scheduled to launch Sept. 17. Billings were not released.
  • MPG and Mitsubishi Motors Spain
    MPG has won the Mitsubishi Motors Spain account, valued at $16 million. Beginning in March, MPG will manage the account from its Madrid offices, and will be in charge of strategic planning, management and media buying. The account was previously handled by Mediaedge.
  • Schwab
    Media Planning Group and incumbents PHD and Rubin Postaer and Associates are contenders for Schwab's $100 million media account.
  • Crocs and TDA Advertising & Design
    Based on a two-month review, shoe manufacturer Crocs has named TDA Advertising & Design, Boulder as its first agency of record. The assignment includes advertising and packaging, Web site, and corporate design. Other advertising review participants were Perich & Partners, Ann Arbor, Mich.; McClain Finlon, Denver; Sterling-Rice Group, Boulder; and Cactus Marketing, Denver. Budget was not released.
  • Mosaica and Unilever Foods North America
    Mosaica, a multicultural communications agency, has been named by Unilever Foods North America as its agency of record for the Hispanic market. Mosaica will be responsible for all aspects of Hispanic strategic planning, advertising creative development, production and media planning for all of Unilever's foods brands, including Hellmann's, Knorr, Ragu, and Shedd's Spread Country Crock. Mosaica has been handling Hellmann's and Shedd's Spread Country Crock since 2002. Spending was not revealed.
  • Horizon Media and IKEA
    IKEA North America has consolidated all general media planning and buying with Horizon Media. The account, estimated at $40 million, will be serviced out of Horizon's New York and Los Angeles offices. Creative duties are being handled by Secret Weapon Marketing in Santa Monica, Calif. Hispanic marketing efforts, including creative and media planning and buying, are handled by Anita Santiago Agency, also in Santa Monica, Calif.
  • RadioShack
    RadioShack has placed its $250 million advertising account in review. The company's in-house agency, the Circle R Group, will continue to perform some core agency support functions.
  • MPG and Auto Zone
    MPG bested MediaVest for the $90 million Auto Zone account. The account was previously handled in-house. Creative continues to be handled in-house.
