    The Kaplan Thaler Group has been awarded Centrum's advertising account, estimated at $40 million. The agency bested Grey Worldwide and McCann Erickson for the win.

    Progressive has picked four finalists in its $150 million creative review. They are: Arnold, Euro RSCG, GSD&M and McKinney.
  • Heineken
    Heineken has placed the creative portion of its $70 million Heineken Lager and Heineken Premium Light brands in review.
  • Taxi - OLN
    TAXI New York has been assigned a branding campaign for OLN, which will change its name to Versus on September 25.
  • Sedgwick Rd. - 21st Century Insurance
    21st Century Insurance has named Sedgwick Rd. as its advertising agency of record. The agency will handle broadcast, outdoor, online, print and direct response work. Spending was not released.
  • PETCO - M&C Saatchi LA
    PETCO Animal Supplies has named M&C Saatchi LA as its agency of record. The agency will begin work in August on the $30 million account. The Phelps Group previously handled the work. The review process took less than six months.
  • deutschMedia - Circuit City
    deutschMedia has been awarded media planning duties on the estimated $150 million Circuit City account. The agency bested OMD and Mediaedge:cia for the win.
  • ML Rogers - Morning Song
    ML Rogers, New York has been tapped as the first agency of record for wild bird food line Morning Song, from the Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. The campaign will include TV, radio, print and non-traditional advertising. Spending was not released.
  • Safeway
    Safeway has narrowed the agencies vying for its $250 million North American broadcast and promotions account down to four. Young & Rubicam; Euro RSCG; Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; and DDB Chicago remain in contention.
  • Jiffy Lube
    Jiffy Lube has named three finalists competing for creative duties on its $25 million advertising account. They are: Colby & Partners, Cole & Weber, and incumbent MMB.
