Initiative, which previously held the national broadcast activation portion of the account, will add local broadcast, planning and digital responsibilities, all of which were previously assigned to SBC Advertising in Columbus, OH. Industry sources tap the account's value at $100 million.

    Quorum Federal Credit Union selected VogtGoldstein as its first agency of record. The account was awarded after a review of more than 15 agencies and billings were not revealed.
  • The Sawtooth Group - High Point Auto Insurance
    The Sawtooth Group was named agency of record for High Point Auto Insurance. The agency will create TV, outdoor and agent-based co-op campaigns.

  • Metromix
    Leo Burnett, Digitas and incumbent DDB are the three agencies competing for creative and media chores on the $10 million Metromix account.

    Miracle Whip shifted its creative account from JWT to DDB.
  • KSL Media - Amerifit Brands
    KSL Media was assigned all media duties for Amerifit Brands, a supplier of natural health products. Media spending is estimated at $11 million. The assignment was made following an internal review.
  • Nike
    Nike is looking to expand its agency roster and will likely place its U.S. running shoe account in review. Wieden + Kennedy presently handles the account.
  • Applebee's
    Applebee's placed the creative portion of its $180 million advertising account in review. The company recently split with DraftFCB.
  • DIRECTV - Euro RSCG Latino
    DIRECTV named Euro RSCG Latino as the creative and media agency of record for its Spanish-language programming service. The account is valued at $20 million.
