    Just For Laughs Toronto has selected zig to handle promotions for the 2009 festival. The agency will handle creative and media chores.

    Reebok consolidated global creative chores on its $60 million advertising account at DDB. McGarryBowen previously handled U.S. creative duties.
  • Delta Air Lines
    Delta Air Lines placed creative duties on its $20 million account in review. BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Deutsch, Ogilvy & Mather and Wieden + Kennedy are competing for the work.
  • Ricker Oil Company - Publicis Indianapolis
    Ricker Oil Company named Publicis Indianapolis as its advertising agency of record. Beginning this month, Publicis will assist Ricker with branding and marketing initiatives following the company's acquisition of 32 BP stores throughout central Indiana and a cooperative network of 55 retail locations.

The agency will handle online and traditional advertising, as well as media planning and buying, for marketing all of Idearc Media LLC's products and services, including Superpages.com and Verizon Yellow Pages. Billings are estimated at $30 million.
  • Direct General - Cramer Krasselt
    Auto insurance provider, The Direct General group, tapped Cramer Krasselt as its agency of record. The Bedford Group assisted in the agency search. The assignment includes brand planning and positioning, creative, advertising, media, public relations and interactive services that will be handled out of C-K's New York office. The assignment is worth $20 million in annual billings. Direct General previously worked with several agencies, including The Buntin Group. New work is expected to debut in Q2 2009.
  • PHD - Discovery Networks
    PHD successfully defended Discovery Networks' $100 million media planning and buying account, besting OMD, Universal McCann and The Martin Agency.
  • EA Sports - Heat and Freestyle Interactive
    Heat and Freestyle Interactive were tapped by Electronic Arts to handle advertising and marketing duties on its $20 million EA Sports account.
