    Michelin North America tapped Mediaedge:cia to manage its media planning and buying activities for all of Michelin's U.S. business units and brands, including Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal. MEC's New York office will begin work on Jan. 1, 2010. MediaCom will retain media planning and buying responsibilities for Canada and Mexico.

    Doner was selected as local media agency of record for the PGA TOUR's Championship Management events. Doner will develop and manage a full-scale media planning and buying program, integrating both traditional and digital media platforms. Media duties were previously handled directly or through various local agencies.

    The American Law Institute-American Bar Association named LevLane as its advertising agency of record. Star Group previously handled the account. LevLane was also named the company's first-ever public relations agency of record, responsible for law and business media advertising and PR, social media and brand reputation management. LevLane's initial assignment, breaking in January, will be the launch of Via, an online continuing education product for the legal profession.

    VML was named digital agency of record for The Hershey Company, charged with developing global digital strategy, digital marketing campaigns, providing digital creative and implementing online programs. VML will work with Hershey's agencies including Arnold Worldwide and OMD. Digital work will be developed for The Hershey Company's corporate online presence, as well as individual Hershey brands, such as Hershey's, Hershey's Kisses, Reese's, Twizzlers, York and others.
