MassMutual Financial Group has selected Mullen as its agency of record to handle integrated marketing communications, including advertising, direct-response, and interactive marketing. Mullen's mediaHUB unit will handle media planning and buying. Mullen succeeds Lowe Worldwide, a fellow IPG company, which served as MassMutual's lead agency since 1999. Mullen will be responsible for brand positioning, creative development and media strategy. The account is valued at $15 million.

Unit 7, the Omnicom-owned CRM agency, has won three new pieces of business from three new clients. Unit 7 has been named the consumer agency to handle the launch of Shire Pharmaceutical's Daytrana brand -- a patch for children with ADHD. Advertising and relationship marketing will debut later this year. The agency was also awarded a global branding positioning and communications assignment from Bayer's diagnostics division. New work will break next year. Lastly, Unit 7 will develop DRTV advertising for ESPN's mobile sports phone service. New spots will air this summer.

L'Oréal Paris has named R/GA as its worldwide interactive agency of record. R/GA will handle the interactive advertising duties for all L'Oréal Paris categories - cosmetics, skincare, haircolor and haircare. The agency was awarded the account following a six-month review.
