  • Draft Chicago -Chicago Tribune
    Draft Chicago has been awarded a portion of the Chicago Tribune's direct marketing business. The agency will develop subscriber analysis programs and segmentation and win-back strategies for the newspaper. Spending was not released.
  • MassMutual Financial Group - Mullen
    MassMutual Financial Group has selected Mullen as its agency of record to handle integrated marketing communications, including advertising, direct-response, and interactive marketing. Mullen's mediaHUB unit will handle media planning and buying. Mullen succeeds Lowe Worldwide, a fellow IPG company, which served as MassMutual's lead agency since 1999. Mullen will be responsible for brand positioning, creative development and media strategy. The account is valued at $15 million.
  • Dassault Systèmes - pushtwentytwo
    Dassault Systèmes, a provider of software applications and services in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management markets, has selected pushtwentytwo as its agency of record supporting web-based marketing campaigns for the Americas. Spending was not revealed.
  • PHD - Unisys
    PHD has been awarded the global media planning and buying business for Unisys, a provider of systems integration, outsourcing, and infrastructure and server technology. This win resulted from a joint pitch with boutique agency Strawberry Frog.
  • Unit 7
    Unit 7, the Omnicom-owned CRM agency, has won three new pieces of business from three new clients. Unit 7 has been named the consumer agency to handle the launch of Shire Pharmaceutical's Daytrana brand -- a patch for children with ADHD. Advertising and relationship marketing will debut later this year. The agency was also awarded a global branding positioning and communications assignment from Bayer's diagnostics division. New work will break next year. Lastly, Unit 7 will develop DRTV advertising for ESPN's mobile sports phone service. New spots will air this summer.
  • Mercedes-Benz - CLM/BBDO
    Mercedes-Benz has awarded its global 2007 C-Class account to CLM/BBDO, Paris. The account is valued at $45 million.
  • L'Oréal Paris - R/GA
    L'Oréal Paris has named R/GA as its worldwide interactive agency of record. R/GA will handle the interactive advertising duties for all L'Oréal Paris categories - cosmetics, skincare, haircolor and haircare. The agency was awarded the account following a six-month review. The work will include brand campaigns, global web presence, eCRM programs, and emerging media, such as mobile marketing and interactive television.
  • FASTSIGNS - Moroch Partners
    Worldwide sign and graphics company, FASTSIGNS International has tapped Moroch Partners for a project, an expanded role for the agency that will include research, brand positioning, media strategies and creative development. Spending was not released.
  • Safeway
    Safeway has placed its $250 million advertising account in review, parting ways with its agency, Dailey & Associates.
