  • Animal Planet - Modernista!
    Animal Planet, part of the Discovery Networks, has tasked Modernista! with a branding campaign. The assignment, based on a previous relationship with the agency, was made without a review. Animal Planet produced its most current work in-house. The campaign will begin airing nationally in June on cable and network stations. Spending was not released.
  • Boone/Oakley - Food Lion
    After a six-week review, Food Lion, Salisbury, N.C., selected Boone/Oakley, Charlotte as the first agency of record for its new division, Bloom. An undisclosed budget will go to non-traditional grocery media including Internet, outdoor and guerrilla marketing, along with traditional newpaper and local magazine and radio components. The review was handled by Hasan & Co., Raleigh, N.C.
  • Agence Virtuelle - Colgate-Palmolive
    Agence Virtuelle has been selected by Colgate-Palmolive to manage a Search Engine Optimization and Marketing campaign for their Palmolive web sites in the UK and across mainland Europe. The brand will raise consumer awareness for the new Palmolive Deodorants, Palmolive Aromatherapy and Aroma Creme bath and shower products as well as for the Palmolive Thermal Spa Range. Agence Virtuelle will be responsible for increasing the profile of the Palmolive brand in the UK and thirteen other European countries in eight different languages. The SEM campaign will be run on international and local networks. Spending was not released.

    RadioShack has chosen Arnold Worldwide to handle its estimated $250 million global advertising account. The Circle R Group, RadioShack's in-house agency, previously handled the account. The agency bested TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles; Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis, and Deutsch, Los Angeles for the win.

    Square One Advertising has been selected by Carolina Turkeys to provide strategic planning, creative and national media planning and buying for the company's foodservice division. Spending was not revealed.
